The annual conference of Asia TEFL will take place in Vietnam at the start of August.


HANOI, VIETNAM, June 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Those with an interest in the education sector could step out from their Hanoi hotels at the start of August and take a trip to the Asia Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Conference.

Getting underway on August 6th 2010 and lasting for three days, the event marks the eighth occasion that the summit has taken place.

This year's venue for the talks will be the La Tanh Guest House in the heart of Hanoi, with discussions set to take place under the heading: "Teaching English as a Global Language: Creating and Sharing the Asian Framework of Practice."

In particular, attendees of the TEFL conference will share tips on the way the language is taught in primary school settings across Asia.

White papers have been invited on a range of topics, including approaches and methodologies to the subject, distance education, the acquisition of a second language and the use of IT in language teaching.

Registration for all three days of the conference will cost $80 (GBP54), which will allow visitors to attend the event and also enjoy the lunches, coffees and other refreshments which will be laid on.

Asia TEFL was established with the intention of encouraging people learning and teaching English in Asia to share information and increase cross-border understanding.
