DUBAI, UAE, January 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sailing enthusiasts will be heading to the UAE in the coming weeks to attend the annual Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS).

Taking place at the Dubai International Marine Club between March 1st and 5th 2011, the occasion attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year and is described by its organisers as being among the top five events of its kind in the world.

With this level of demand for tickets, combined with its reputation as a world leader in displaying luxury yachts to high-end buyers, anyone planning to attend would be well advised to book their Dubai hotels as soon as possible.

As well as the various boats that will be shown off, this year will see the launch of the inaugural Supercar Promenade, which will take place alongside the DIBS.

An "exhilarating array" of premium motors will be present at the purpose-built area of the Marine Club, along with some of the best examples of custom and modified vehicles.

Trade visitors and the general public are allowed to attend both events. Anyone who does not receive an invitation will need to pay 55 UAE dirhams (GBP9.40) for admission, while children under 12 can get in for free.

Proceedings will run between 16:00 and 21:30 local time on each day.
