"Canadian investors make up nearly 30% of the foreign investors who are purchasing U.S. investment properties so this is an important event for us to be at," said Chris Clothier as he set up the Memphis Invest booth. The Canadian Real Estate Investor Forum is being held at the Vancouver Convention Centre and is attracting investors from across Canada and sponsors from not only Canada but also south of the border.

Memphis Invest, GP decided to sponsor the event last summer after seeing a noticeable increase in web traffic from foreign countries. Investors were exploring the company from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Israel and heavy traffic from Canada.

"It prompted us to look at the programs we had for foreign investors and begin to refine our processes. A majority of our investors are from the U.S. but the demand from foreign investors was so great that we began to develop lending and management programs to fit their needs," stated Clothier.
